For those not lucky enough to be at park oval last night, here’s a compressed report: our bowlers touched up by sscc openers for second time this season but Richie came on and got us back in the game with a great spell that netted four scalps and slowed the scoring. hobsy unfortunately went early but then Frankie joined dj and they took the springy bowlers down with hard hitting. dj and rui departed and suren joined franki who was again looking imperious against an attack he obviously dines out on. then slocs brought on his leggie to lefti sui, who had already lifted a six into the nets and BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! balls sailed into creek area for six sixes in an over to equal dj’s feat from last year when he filleted whiting also at park. great return of 40plus from dj, smashing unbeaten whirlwind knock from sui and another seriously good knock (68no) from frankie. go bucks!
