Turf 1

Losing the toss Lyndale decided to bat on a glorious day with a very good batting wicket. They posted 6/262 at the end of the 80 overs. Wez and Goody were the pick of the bowlers 2/43 off 16 and 2/58 off 15. In reply we posted 5/230 in a rain delayed start which ended the game in a draw. Once again Franky 84* Choppa 83 and Twigga 30*.

Turf 3

Batting first the boys posted 10/205 with Basil coming back out of retirement making a solid 46 and Antonio making 80 in his first knock for the club. We had 13 overs at Dingley and they ended 1/63. Second weekend was washed out .

Turf 5

Batting first only managed 10/114 with Big Fonzy 23 and Milo 16. In reply Berwick were bowled out for 195 with Milo 3/25 off 11 and Sonny 3/42 off 16. In the second dig the boys faired a lot bet making 6/246 with Ryan Fonzy 53, Alvin continuing his good form with 26 and Les making a great 129.

C Grade

Batting first we scored a massive 10/336 with Emlyn 54 and Nigel with a magnificent 191. Luck was not on our side with the second week getting washed out.

F Grade

Winning the toss decided to bat and our first wicket did not fall till 263 was on the board. F troop ended the day on 5/410 with Nav 148, Ashitosh 131, Winnie 34 and Tony 40. In reply St Brigids were never going to get close getting bowled out for 91 with Sultan continuing his good form taking 5/20 off 17.

Congratulation to Les, Nav, Ashitosh and Nigel all posting massive 100’s.

There is a healthy competition for spots especially after the round we have just had so we expect plenty of number at training this week.
