The club needs all the financial support it can get which of course starts with you paying your membership and not running up the slate.
We will shortly be installing an eftpos machine where you can withdraw your own money to pay for drinks etc, there will be no slate available after that.

Additional to that we have entered a competition to win $10,000 – but we need your help to do it.

This is a small ask for a great reward.

All committee are expected to sign up and members are strongly encouraged to support your club.
The club has entered this competition , you just need sign up as members with the Melbourne stars competition and nominate Buckley Ridges as your club

The Melbourne Stars are excited to announce their Stars Club Competition for BBL|03! Through our partnership with Mitsubishi Motors, the Stars Club Competition will give Victorian Cricket Clubs the chance to win $10,000 cash for their Club.

To be eligible to win the $10,000, clubs simply need to:
• Register online to become a Stars Club at melbournestars.com.au/starsclub – Signing up is free and you’ll receive a Stars Club Welcome Pack in the mail!
• Tell us in 100 words or less why your cricket club is a great place to play cricket and what your club would spend the $10,000 cash on – Done upon registering to become a Stars Club!
• Complete the ASC Club Health Check – completed online and will only take about 30 minutes!
• Have 10 people nominate your club when they sign up to become Stars Members – a field on the registration form asks if the person is a member of a cricket club, and if so which club. We already have members signing up and acknowledging their clubs!
We also have the following additional prizes to give away through this competition:
• All Stars Clubs will go in the draw to win a coaching session at their club by the Melbourne Stars Head Coach, Greg Shipperd
• If a club receives 15 nominations when people become Stars Members, these clubs will go into the draw to win the chance to send one of their Coaches to attend the pre-match address by Greg Shipperd at the Stars home matches (four to be won – each prize drawn one week prior to the Stars Home Match).
